QGIS algorithm - Heatmap (Kernel Density Estimation)

QGIS Algorithm provided by QGIS Heatmap (Kernel Density Estimation) (qgis:heatmapkerneldensityestimation). Creates a density (heatmap) raster of an input point vector layer using kernel density estimation. Heatmaps allow easy identification of hotspots and clustering of points. The density is calculated based on the number of points in a location, with larger numbers of clustered points resulting in larger values.

Arguments

INPUT

source - Point layer. Path to a vector layer.

RADIUS

distance - Radius. A numeric value. field:FIELD_NAME to use a data defined value taken from the FIELD_NAME field. expression:SOME EXPRESSION to use a data defined value calculated using a custom QGIS expression.

RADIUS_FIELD

field - Radius from field. The name of an existing field. ; delimited list of existing field names.

PIXEL_SIZE

number - Output raster size. A numeric value. field:FIELD_NAME to use a data defined value taken from the FIELD_NAME field. expression:SOME EXPRESSION to use a data defined value calculated using a custom QGIS expression.

WEIGHT_FIELD

field - Weight from field. The name of an existing field. ; delimited list of existing field names.

KERNEL

enum of ("Quartic", "Triangular", "Uniform", "Triweight", "Epanechnikov") - Kernel shape. Number of selected option, e.g. '1'. Comma separated list of options, e.g. '1,3'.

DECAY

number - Decay ratio (Triangular kernels only). A numeric value. field:FIELD_NAME to use a data defined value taken from the FIELD_NAME field. expression:SOME EXPRESSION to use a data defined value calculated using a custom QGIS expression.

OUTPUT_VALUE

enum of ("Raw", "Scaled") - Output value scaling. Number of selected option, e.g. '1'. Comma separated list of options, e.g. '1,3'.

rasterDestination - Heatmap. Path for new raster layer.

.complete_output

logical specifying if complete out of qgisprocess::qgis_run_algorithm() should be used (TRUE) or first output (most likely the main) should read (FALSE). Default value is TRUE.

.quiet

logical specifying if parameter .quiet for qgisprocess::qgis_run_algorithm() Default value is TRUE.

.messages

logical specifying if messages from qgisprocess::qgis_run_algorithm() should be printed (TRUE) or not (FALSE). Default value is FALSE.
